When pollen gets up your nose
the body's defenses go haywire!
The biggest spring allergy trigger is pollen. Trees and grasses release tiny particles into the air which can travel for miles. When these particles get into the nose of someone that is allergic your body’s defences go haywire! Because the body sees these tiny particles as danger it releases antibodies (histamines) to attack the allergens. Histamines trigger runny nose, itchy eyes, sneezing and other hayfever like symptons.
